What does psychotherapy treat?

There are various reasons why a person may seek psychotherapeutic help. There are situations in which our struggles may be defined more accurate, such as:

Difficulty developing

or maintaining healthy relationships;

Difficulty finding

a professional path that brings fulfillment;

Dissatisfaction with the body,

sexuality, and self-esteem;

Challenges arising from a life change

such as immigration, the birth of children or a big change at work;

Need to develop a better ability

to communicate and express needs and desires;

Challenges arising from grief

or arrival of health diagnosis;

Relationship difficulties

with family, friends, or work colleagues;

Phobias

and fears;

Difficulties and symptoms

related to a specific traumatic experience;

Impulsivity or difficulty

dealing with anger and aggression.

There are other situations where our struggles may be defined less accurate when we try to describe them.

Important pointers when choosing a therapy and your therapist:

There are several approaches in the field of psychology. Each approach has its own methods and techniques, each with its own importance. But what is perceived as most effective in the psychotherapeutic process is the client's engagement within his own process and the bond created with the psychologist, a relationship based on empathy and trust in the therapeutic relationship.

Therefore, I invite you to look within yourself, and become aware of where you are, of the moment in your life and thus ask yourself in which direction you want to go.

I’m grateful for your visit and I am available to talk more about my work for us to work together if this is your wish.
